- Sebastian published an article in a booklet by the “Gesellschaft für Medienpädagogik und Kommunikationskultur” titled: Free and Open Schools (German) and blogged about it (also in German).
- We continued working on the the edu pages

- Not entirely Free Software related, but still noteworthy, there was an OpenStreetMap Workshop at Young University Heidelberg
- Heidi Ellis writes about the new POSSE and what she was up to the last few months
- FWIOO (Fundacja Wolnego i Otwartego Oprogramowania) is contacting new schools, to interest them in the “Ubuntu School Remix”
- FSFE’s vice president Matthias Kirschner wrote about the FrogLabs at Chemnitzer Linuxtage
- Hesa wrote another edu post on how to find more knowledge by searching less
- There was a three day POSSE event in Nigeria: Reports on day 1, day 2 and day 3

- May 15: Youth Future Project invites you to write an article for their booklet about the youth movement on sustainability in Europe. It’s called: “TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR FUTURE”. Call for Papers ends on May 15th
- August 9-15: KDE edu Randa meeting (please register!)
- August 23-24: This year’s FrOSCon will have the Froglabs again, a two day workshop for kids with Freedroidz, PyGame, Blender and much more Free Software!
