Julia, where have you been?

What has she been doing? Why no life signs in Free Software society from her for ages? These are questions some of you might have been wondering about in the last few months. The answer is as simple as it is sad: my trainee program, my PhD thesis and moving two times within three months got me too busy to do anything else but working and house moving for the last 9 months. Since then I’ve been doing a lot of travelling and I’m facing several exams and even more travelling for yet another 18 months to come. That’s why there is so little time for active Fellowship work in my life at the moment. I hope this will change again some time.

All I can say for now is:
a) Of course I’m going to attend this year’s GA and I’ll keep you informed about what was going on there. I hope to meet many of the local Fellows there.
b) I’ll try to make it to FrOSCon 2011.
c) I’m definitely going to be at OpenRheinRuhr 2011 and I hope I can do some interviews there again. Those of you who plan to give a talk on ORR2011 be prepared! I want an interview with you where you tell me about your topic and why you’ve become a fellow. If you like to answer some questions and tell me a bit about yourself and your work for Free Software, contact me via this blog or via my usual jabber or e-mail address. See you in Oberhausen!
