October trips: Helsinki 25th, Florence 27th

Just finished some travel planning.

On October 25th, I’ll be at a Helsinki-based free software licensing event. Getting to and from Helsinki is much harder than I’d’ve expected, but it’s all worked out now.

And on October 27th, I’ll be at Florence [GNU/]Linux Day. Afterward, I’ll go to Pisa to meet some of the local free software supporters there.

In both places I’ll discuss the changes and the status of GPLv3. And for anyone who likes reading slides (these people do exist), I’ve also just put online my slides from a recent GPLv3 talk in Rovigo.

Lastly, on the topic of events, there’s also the two-day Free Software Conference Scandanavia in Gothenburg on December 7th and 8th. I won’t be there, but there are plenty of good talks.
