Arab Uprising and the Role of Media
The Digital Liberation Network organises at 16/4/2011 at the Free Social Centre “Nosotros”, the event about the role of media in arab uprising. Surely a big part of the communication media that was used by these movements has to do with Free Software. So, is one of the few times that someone can realise the importance of “free as in speech, not as in beer” software and how this has direct effect on a revolt.
