Hannes, the second coordinator of pdfreaders.org compared our google ranking with some keywords he search for. The results are quite good for the beginning:
- “pdfreaders” -> 1st Result
- pdfreader” -> 8th
- “free software pdf” -> 9th
- “pdf reader” -> 38th
- “pdf viewer” -> not in the first 100
- “free pdf reader” -> 17th
- “download free pdf reader” -> 40th
- “download pdf reader” -> not in the first 100
- “open pdf file” -> not in the first 100
As you can see we are not found in the first 100 hits with the keywords “pdf viewer”, so if you want to help us you do have two opportunities:
1. Blog about pdfreaders.org and use the keywords that we need 😉
2. Write webmasters of big or small sites and please them to use our sexy buttons instead of the “Get Adobe Reader”-buttons.
