About
As a Free Software activist, I am Cryptie :
- a Free Software users for too many years to say 😉
- a fellow/donator/member of the FSFE community since 2012,
- an active member of the French translation team since 2012
(as well as the coordinator of the team when one is needed since 2016), - a regular volunteer at FSFE booths (mainly FOSDEM and RMLL) since 2013
(and proud organizer of a few FSFE booths at the RMLL 😉 ), - a GA member since 2017.
In my professional life, I am Amandine Jambert :
- defended in 2011 my PhD Thesis “Cryptographic tools for content protection and user privacy”
=> It is in French… and publicly available on HAL - an (ir)regular author of academic papers regarding privacy issues (list available on dblp )
- a privacy professional working as “IT specialist” at the French data protection agency (CNIL)
where I help legal people and politicians to understand just enough of technical stuff to take decisions regarding GDPR compliance.
I am also the proud mother of a little hacker born in late 2019.
I will call her “LittleOne” here, hoping you will let her be pseudonymous on the internet for as long as she wants.
Have a nice day !
