>Αυτές τις ημέρες πραγματοποιείται στη Βοστώνη το LinuxCon 2010, το ετήσιο τεχνικό συνέδριο του Linux Foundation. Αν και είχα βάλει στο ημερολόγιο του GNU/Linux Noosphere το LinuxCon, εντούτοις λόγω των αλλαγών εμφάνισης, ομολογώ οτι και εγώ ο ίδιος το είχα ξεχάσει. Για όσους θέλουν να παρακολουθήσουν τις ομιλίες της τρίτης και τελευταίας ημέρας υπάρχει live video streaming επί χρέωση. Θα είναι σαν να είστε εκεί!

Bolzano administration accepted the proposal of LUG-BZ and FSFE

Unlike Greece where the three public speeches of the Association of Greek Users and Friends of Free Software / Open Source Software,

  • Although official letters were sent by the Association
  • Although there was feedback from a Greek MEP
  • Although there is knowledge that they reached the proper persons

Unfortunately until now there has been no official response by the government, or even by the local administration, to the requests of the NGO.

The news is that the administration of the Region of Bolzano accepted the proposal made by the LUG-BZ together with the Free Software Foundation Europe to discuss the orientation of the Digital Strategy in the area of Free Software / Open Source Software.

Indeed, the first meeting with the IT Director in the Region has already arranged to take place in early August.
