My first free-software job

Tomorrow I start my first paid free software job – writing a 8/16 chapters in a free software video manual, for which I will receive about $200 dollars per chapter.  It’s been a few years of hard graft and no pay for me – and, to be honest, as a non-coding activist, I really didn’t expect to get paid at all. But here I am, at the start of my first paid job, and I really am over the moon – being paid to do something I love. It’s not very British!
